A wealth of early history's preserved within its doors, Authentic are its furnishings and highly polished floors, The contents are original, all lovingly preserved, Maintained and treated with the due respect that they deserve. Intricate the fretwork, a verandah so ornate, Surrounded by a picket fence and sturdy wooden gate, Joseph Brain had expertise, such craftsmanship and skill, Victorian this villa, and it's standing proudly, still. For tourists, its attraction offers much to be explored, But sadly here in Tauranga, it's largely been ignored.
