The beads are old black glass, faceted. Each is set on to a link of red wire together with tiny gold coloured glass seeds, and the links are joined with a gold split ring. However I got there in the end, and there are clusters of all sorts of different bits and pieces hooked on to three strands of dark chain. There are beads, buttons, acrylic spacers, pieces of chain etc., and even a five cent and one cent piece. A novelty, a little bit different and certainly one of a kind. The orange pieces could be Carnelion, but not sure. No earrings to match this one - at least no more "chips" available but I do have small round beads to match if anyone wanted earrings to go with this. Here is a bead rope comprised of several different colours and patterns of flattened round glass beads. All beads are on gold coloured wire and linked together. They are formed from Polymer Clay which is oven baked for a hard and durable finish, then the beads are varnished for protection. Definitely different. These beads have a core pattern mainly in red, white and black, and are dark blue on the outside. The side and back sections are linked with copper-coloured wire links and these beads are log-shaped. The front section is comprised of bigger round beads threaded with small dark red glass beads inbetween. These large beads were pierced with a hole vertically as well as horizontally, my intention being to make an extra feature by inserting copper wire in the opposite direction from threading. On to these loops there are smaller round glass beads in a lovely deep shade of red. Length = 47cm, with 4cm extension chain. Matching earrings for pierced ears. Eleven sparkly crystal-like beads with an opalecent "cap" of colour top and bottom, are linked onto the bronze-coloured chain. Matching earrings for pierced ears. There are alternating sections of tiny glass seed beads in red and silver. Spaced out by the seeds are larger glass beads, some in red with silver pattern and some clear in varying shapes. The two strands are joined into one near the clasp. Length shorter strand = 48cm Length longer strand = 59cm No.45 - NECKLACE ONLY Price: $45.00 BUTTONS 'N' BEADS mixture. Two strands of glass beads and buttons mixed, with double-threading through larger buttons at intervals. This makes a thick, chunky rope which can be twisted a bit if desired, and has a wide spectrum of colours and shapes. Length = 57.5cm No.44 - SET Price: $46.00 THESE BEADS ARE HAND-MADE by myself. They are formed from Polymer Clay which is oven baked for a hard and durable finish, then the beads are varnished for protection. The beads have been rolled in a type of gold powder to give the desired effect. I have made all of the beads except of course the very small black glass ones. Beads are threaded on to gold-coloured wire and sections linked together. The round gold beads have a gold-coloured acrylic spacer on each side. Something unique and different here. It took quite a while to produce the beads but I enjoyed the process and am pleased with the result. There is much greater length in this necklace, which has a catch for opening and this blends in well with the beads. Length opened out = 96.5cm (38 inches). Matching earrings for pierced ears. Cheerful and bright colours here, using buttons of yellow, gold, scarlet, brown and dark green - definitely shades of spring, summer and autumn. Would certainly brighten up the winter too. Silvery acrylic and small glass bead spacers. Also there are green glass beads with the small silver ones inbetween. The central feature is a clear round glass bead with silver foil inside. It has a raised pattern in red. Length = 47cm No.42 - NECKLACE ONLY Price: $42.00 BUTTONS 'N' BEADS mixture. These larger buttons are medium pearly pink, and the rest are graduated sizes in a burgundy shade. There are small silvery acrylic spacers between buttons, and small silvery glass beads finish off the necklace. The central pendant is an oval glass bead, burgundy coloured inside. Graduated sizes of buttons, in light to deep shades of pink, spaced out with small glass beads which are an opalescent dark blue. They are formed from Polymer Clay which is oven baked for a hard and durable finish, then the beads are varnished for protection. There's quite a bit of variety here, with different shapes and colours of beads in green, orange, and a marbled effect with blue and other colours. The orange beads have small dots of different colours fixed on to them. Gold glass beads are alternated with the hand-made beads. The central feature is a "pendant" cluster of beads, each on an individual thread and fixed on to a ring. Length = 45.5cm. Matching earrings for pierced ears. There are tiny patterns of white, black and red showing on the sides of these yellow beads. They have little knobs of white fixed to the surface, which give a nice lumpy texture. This was a pre-conceived idea which took shape as each new piece was added. I don't think I want to do another like it in a hurry! Time and originality not reflected in price! The shapes and sizes vary, and many of the beads are matching but not necessarily the same as the others. there are five loops double-threaded onto main string, and featuring dark blue opalescent glass beads. Then it was re-done, and re-done again - until it was just right and looked how I wanted it to look. Much experimentation and intricate work is in no way reflected by the price. It was a real challenge, this one. There are lots of red glass beads on red wire linking sections. The design is assymetrical - meant to be not the same on both sides. The centre section is double-threaded, featuring some small fluted blue glass beads and one that is oblong with metallic bronze inside. Length 42cm. An extension chain could be added if desired. Matching earrings with two drops of blue beads, on hooks for pierced ears. No.5 - SET Price: $39.00 Amber and black glass beads are alternated with small black beads. The sides of the necklace are matched but not identical - for added interest and making a more unusual effect. Length = 41cm. I may add an extension chain so that the length can be increased.
